Bob Oberstein CPA/PFS, MST

Bob Oberstein has been involved in the financial planning industry for more than four decades, helping clients achieve their dreams through a multifaceted approach to wealth management. As a Personal Financial Specialist (PFS), Bob is a CPA with expansive tax expertise and a comprehensive knowledge of financial planning, insurance, retirement and estate planning.

Originally from New York, Bob is a member of both the California Society of CPAs where he serves on the Personal Financial Planning Committee, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, where he was tapped to be a commissioner on the National Accreditation Committee. 

He is a graduate of California State University, Northridge where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Bob also earned a Master of Science in Taxation from Golden Gate University. Bob is a registered representative of LPL Financial and holds a California Department of Insurance Life License, Variable Life & Annuities license.

Bob is married, has four children, eight grandchildren and is a cyclist and competitive marathon and half marathon runner. He has completed more than 50 running events in California, New York, Illinois, Oregon, Nevada, Washington State and the District of Columbia. Bob has logged more than 1,500 miles on his bike during 500-mile bike rides in the U.S. and Europe as well as throughout Los Angeles.  His athletic journey began in 1994 when he scaled Mt. Whitney, the tallest peak in the contiguous United States. Bob is also on the board of directors for his synagogue and a community educator with the Alzheimer’s Association.
